TNS decides to teach the big man St Louis Heel that the bigger they are the harder they fall! When you first see this David vs Goliath match up you make the mistake of thinking that St Louis Heel will make short work of the smaller TNS, but the quick youngster seizes an opportunity and mercilessly attacks the heel's arm in a series of battering holds that shake the confidence of the bulky brute. St Louis powers through this initial upset and begins some torture of his own. He subjects TNS to brutal gut and back work and tries to finish him off with a Boston crab. The wily TNS escapes this hold and ruthlessly goes back to working the arm. St Louis Heel has his weakened arm slammed repeatedly to the mat. St Louis escapes to the corner and receives a flurry of knees to his massive gut. TNS then traps his arm in a brutal armbar that nearly rips it out of its socket. The heel attempts to make various comebacks but the damage has been done and to the smaller victor goes the bigger spoils.

When your opponent has a big size and strength advantage, going after him head to head isn't likely to succeed. TNS may not have expected his opening move, a hammerlock, to partially wreck St. Louis Heel's shoulder or perhaps upper arm, but when it did he did what any skilled wrestler would, he exploited it. Okay so maybe not everyone would taunt the opponent by cynically patting the injured area. But after being on the receiving end of the taunting in prior matches you can't really blame him. St. Louis Heel showed a lot of heart by continuing the match and taking charge a few times. I'm thinking TNS may have had a love/hate moment when he got trapped in a tight headscissors. But he knew what he was doing and when openings for a finishing arm bar were presented he went for it and eventually succeeded. Although he's shown confidence in his ability in other matches, make that cockiness, he seemed a bit surprised by the outcome. Maybe that's natural when a David takes down a Goliath for the first time. I'm thinking it won't be the last time.

Great match

TNS was the jobber in other matches but got too much spirit to stay that way. He already showed good wrestling skills. St. Louis Heel started the match looking big and bad as ever. But TNS had a new strategy. He did lots of his offense on one of Heel’s arms. It worked. Heel could not finish TNS with a camel clutch because he could only use one arm to bend him. They both knew an arm bar on Heel’s hurt arm would end it. Heel prevented it the first couple times TNS tried, countering one with killer headscissors. But TNS got it locked the third time and Heel had to submit. TNS had the last word in their trash talking. But then he realized he injured Heel, which in pro wrestling you don’t want to do. So at the end TNS looked sad and upset, leaning onthe top rope like he lost instead of being happy he won. Sometimes having the last word don't turn out well. It was a fun match to watch, wondering if Heel could maybe win even with a bad arm. TNS backed up what he said in this match and another one. He is not an easy win for the Vertex big guys.
